Carmelite Days 2020

(Also known as Carmelite Days for Everyone;  it is for everyone, Carmelites and non-Carmelites.)

The Carmelite Days are days of reflection to share the core aspects of our Carmelite heritage. These days are held on Wednesdays, beginning at 9:30 am with a Contemplative Eucharist (Mass), a talk at 10:30 am, followed by guided contemplation and time for personal recollection and prayers, finishing at 3:30 pm.  You are also welcome to participate in the Morning Prayer (Liturgy of the Hours) at 9:05 am.

A soup lunch will be provided.

May 20 - On the Road with Teresa of Avila - led by Barbara Thacker, OCDS

 

June 10 - Flying on the breeze of love - Exploring the way of love through the Spiritual Canticle - led by Gillian Coxhead

 

September 30 - Edith Stein and Therese of Lisieux on truth and love - led by Deborah Hawley, OCDS and Cyprian Blamires, OCDS

 

October 28 - Carmel is a corner of Heaven - Reflecting with St Elizabeth of the Trinity - led by Fr Liam Finnerty, OCD
