Contemplative Eucharist

Contemplative Eucharist at the Carmelite Priory is an opportune time to contemplate an entry into a deeper awareness of God's presence and love in the Eucharist. Contemplation is an ancient form of prayer, often called the 'prayer of the heart'. Through the use of incense and candles, meditative music and times of silence the mind and the senses are awakened to a prayerful listening and reflection on the scriptures, as well as, a contemplative awareness to the Christ who is Immanu-EI (God with us) in the Eucharist and who comes to us that we may have life and have it to the full.
